I am a mixed-method social scientist, with 10 years of experience using innovative research methods to answer questions and solve problems related to social attitudes, motivated decision-making, and impression formation. My experiences include extensive coding in R and integration of relational databases through tools like MySQL. I enjoy opportunities to use data, statistics, and other creative methods to support organizational goals and initiatives through data-driven insights in collaborative, innovative contexts.
I completed my PhD in Social Psychology at Northwestern University under the guidance of Dr. Galen V. Bodenhausen (https://www.galenbodenhausen.com/social-cognition-lab). I completed a Faculty Fellowship at New York University, where I collaborated with Dr. Emily Balcetis and her Social, Perception, Action, and Motivation lab (https://www.spamlabresearch.com/). Now I am Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago, where I direct the Identities, Social Perceptions and Impressions (I-SPI) lab.
